Asdi Sedia, Agency for the Development of the Industrial Chair District, promotes the competitive development of the District by offering services to support the innovation processes of the firms located in the District of the Chair. Among the main aims of Asdi Sedia, there is the enhancement and development of economic and cultural resources of the district in order to promote the competitiveness of local production system and the welfare of citizens.

Asdi Sedia supports the valorisation of the area mainly through four action lines: commercial development, training, technological innovation and environmental protection. Particularly important to encourage the development of District are the environmental projects because, in addition to increasing the competitiveness of local enterprises, protect and exploit the rich natural heritage of the area through the promotion of a production with low environmental impact. The training projects arise, however, the goal of creating highly specialized professionals in the districts, by supporting the professional training of the students of the technical school Ipsia A. Mattioni of San Giovanni al Natisone, either through specialization and update courses for professionals and local entrepreneurs. Asdi Sedia also promotes the technological innovation of the enterprises, creating, where possible, the facilities especially for small and medium enterprises, whose sizes typically do not facilitate the use of these technologies. From all these and other initiatives, the Agency encourages the harmonious development and the sustainable economy of the territory.
