"Distretti sul web": ready to the digitalization of the Italian Chair District
On September 9, 2013, at the Friuli Future Forum of the Udine Chamber of Commerce, was presented the national project "Distretti sul Web", developed by Google and Unioncamere with the patronage of the Ministry of Economic Development with the aim of spreading among small and medium district enterprises the culture of innovation and the awareness that the Internet can be helpful for their growth. Until December 2013, 20 young digitalizers will sensitize and educate small and medium enterprises of 20 italian industrial district, including Italian Chair District, on the different opportunities and tools offered by the web to enhance their online presence.
Great interest was shown by Italian Chair District entrepreneurs, willing to take part actively in the project. During the forum, presented by Carlo Piemonte, director of the Italian Chair District, the young digitalizer Giacomo Trevisan showed some significant data on the italian Internet Economy, constantly evolving and growing, and the possible solutions and useful tools for improving company's visibility and presence online. The forum was also an opportunity to talk about innovation, design and e-commerce with Paolo Coppola, Member of Italian Parliament, Michele Di Fonzo, Research & Product Development Frag Srl and Patrik De Sabbata, partner of Sediarreda.com.
“Distretti sul Web” is aimed at all Italian Chair District companies who want to increase their online presence and to become popular on the Internet.
