ICD @ Rosazzo da Rosa 2014
After the successfull participation in the previous editions, the Italian Chair District collaborated again for "Rosazzo Da Rosa", now in its ninth meeting, held at the Abbey of Rosazzo from the 6th to the 11th May 2014.
Italian Chair District oversaw the decor of the great Belvedere with the exhibition of different types of outdoor seating, proposed by 5 great brands of the District: Area Declic, Calligaris, Chairs & More, Domitalia and Moroso.
Area Declic presented the model "ELITRE", designed by Philippe Bestenheider, made of metal tube with seat and back in expanded metal, and the armchair "FLORA" designed by Donatella Santangelo-Thesia Studio Projects.
Calligaris exposed its light "SKIN", in the new sky-blue color, designed by Archirivolto and made of polypropylene with the airmoulding's technique, a process that allows it to get a exceptional strength and lightness.
Chairs & More exhibited the contemporary "CHURROS" by the designer Kazuko Okamoto, created with an innovative polyurethane particularly suited to outdoor spaces, and the armchair of the collection "JUJUBE" by 4P1B Design Studio.
Domitalia proposed the armchair "STONE", result of the collaboration between the company and Fabrizio Citton & Alberto Werner Arter, and the bicolour stackable polycarbonate chair "NEW RETRO '" by designer Fabrizio Batoni.
Moroso finally exposed the colorful "BANJOOLI", for whose design Sebastian Herkner was inspired by the courtship dance of ostrich birds living in East Africa, and the rocking chaise longue "BAYEKOU" designed by Ayse & Bibi Seck Birsel.
Great was the interest from the public, fascinated by the excellence of the production of the Italian Chair District.
