Temporary Showroom at Villa Nachini-Cabassi
In the setting of Villa Nachini - Cabassi, a beautiful home of venetian origins built in 1720 and now owned by the municipality, on which was operated a respectful philological restoration signature by Arch. Paolo Coretti, chairs and regional wines are been presented together to express the history, know-how and excellence in an area of quality. At the entrance to the noble Villa, the Italian Chair District opened a Temporary Showroom that houses the excellence of the seatings of our territory.
The showcase, signed by the young architect Claudia Ciulla, presented 5 Italian Chair District companies of the furniture sector to the Italian and foreign clients who arrive in our District. Blifase, Calligaris, Cizeta, Domitalia and Livoni E. & Figlio are the local productions which inaugurate the space, different from each other but united by the attention to design, top quality standard and the close connection with the territory. Their collections of tables and chairs also decorate the large hall of the new winebar and of the restaurant which offers the tasting of the flavors of Friuli. In these spaces, the companies of the District will be changed every 12 months, a deliberate strategy by the Italian Chair District in order to give visibility to the entire sector, the breadth of the collections for residential and contract use and the multiple types of seating that it expresses.
The villa also houses a modern conference center, also furnished with the seats manufactured by the Italian Chair District, a store with a wide range of Friuli wine and food (wine, brandy, sweets and handicrafts), the new headquarters of the Consorzio Doc Friuli Colli Orientali and Ramandolo and the Info Point of Turismo FVG, a reference point for tourist accommodation in the area. An ambitious project of integrated development and economic promotion, supported by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, which proves that it is possible to make synergy with success.
