Those who thought that cooperation in the world of furniture was a taboo concept were very wrong. This was demonstrated in Pordenone at the trade fair “Happy Business to you”, in an open space without barriers between exhibiting companies, under the aegis of the Italian Chair District, the international trademark with which Asdi Sedia communicates news about the District abroad.

"Marriage can be difficult, but getting to know one another and being together one learns to love” comments with a metaphor Franco Bulfoni, founder of the company of the same name. “Cooperation is possible and we are seeing it with this beautiful stand. There are top quality qualified companies at the trade fair, and it can only grow from here.” Very satisfied were the companies present - Abitex, Billiani, Blues, Bp Sedie, Bulfoni Franco, Domitalia, Forti Giorgio, Riccardo Rivoli Design, New Life, Psm, and Torre. "A positive climate” reported Cristina Gobessi, PSM Business Manager, “The events have been well organised and there were excellent contacts obtained."

Attracted by the colourful and airy stand, furnished by the Marco Viola Studio with the participation of the Cooperative Credit Bank of Manzano, over 500 persons participated in the Happy Hour organised to present our new magazine of the Italian Chair District, “Take a seat”.

Among the variously coloured chairs and excellent Friulian wine offered from some 13 cellars of the regional territory, demonstrating that even multi-sector cooperation can meet with success – the President of Asdi Sedia, Giusto Maurig, together with a delegation of the Board of Directors (made up of Asdi Vice-President Alberto Gortani, Director Carlo Piemonte, Vice-President of the Udine Province Daniele Macorig, the Mayor of Corno di Rosazzo Loris Basso) explained the contents of the magazine, mentioning in particular “the vitality of the District as it keeps on eye on the world.”

Among those present was also the President of the Pordenone Chamber of Commerce Giovanni Pavan, the President of Asdi Furniture, Mauro Manassero, the Vice-President of the Confederation of Artisans and Member of the Board of the Udine Chamber of Commerce Franco Buttazzoni, numerous businessmen, architects, buyers and professionals.

An experience that the Italian Chair District will certainly wish to repeat in future editions, while demonstrating that synergy and cooperation, united with fantasy and entrepreneurial skills, can only bear important fruit.
